Hamilton said over and over in this book. This book provides scientific evidence to what I think we've always thoughtthat our thoughts have the power to alter ourselves, other people, the world around us. That we are all connected. I have not finished this book yet but I find myself thinking more and more about how I want to live out the rest of my life.

I want to make it count. And I want to do better for me, so that doing that will have a good effect on the people around me. Of course when I was a kid I hated being told what to do and didn't think my parents knew any better. But having gone through the experiences I've had, I don't doubt their effect and how it's shaped me to be the person I am now, and what Dr. Hamilton says in this book reinforces what I've long thought of but found difficult to believe. If you want to give a gift to anybody, I suggest giving them a copy of this book. I have read many, many books of this type but this one really resonates.

I found myself highlighting passages for future reference. It is just very practical and uplifting. He is a great writer.

  4. I have heard him speak on Hay House Radio and he gives facts to back up statements. I just plain enjoyed the book and I will purchase his other works. Personally I used the information from this book for a workshop that I presented on mind-body healing. The author wrote a great book, full of information and research yet it was fun to read and reread. I'd recommend this book to everyone who wants to know more about how our minds work. My motto is "don't believe everything you think": This is a simple and straightforward book on the power of our thoughts backed by solid scientific discoveries.

What i liked about it is the scientific and spiritual take Also the author has covered almost everything in one book from genes to cells and the way our environment and perceptions affect our genes. I loved David Hamilton's book because, although I have enthusiastically embraced his message for years I have several doubting friends who struggle to understand --but who do want to --or want to understand why I am so positive and alive --I have purchased several to give to them and all came back to say that they were going to live with a greater awareness of their thoughts.

This book had a very special impact on them. Thanks to David for a great book!!

As long as it is given whole heartedly no money could equalize with the love and thoughts wrapped in it. But as a matter of fact, people value their friendship by how much does the gift cost. As far as you know, in chinese wedding, the bride's and groom's friends should wrap a mount of money in a red bag. At the moment, their friends will make decision whether the friendship between them is worthy of yuan or not, or even more.

But what I said above is a contradiction. Maybe we just need some time to resolve this problem. D and we gathered some money. I found that almost all members in our fornum are agree on the idea that thought is cardinal and cost is the second. It is not a problem. The more important thing is what you think of that gift. It may be small or big.
