I loved how Derrick, Mark and Jenna were able to interact despite the curse. I would have loved this story to be longer. Believe it or not this was my first romance involving ghosts and I definitely would like to read more. It took me just over an hour to finish, but I admit to skimming a bit.
It's a double paranormal with werewolves and ghosts. They refuse her year after year, until pretty and curvy Jenna buys their empty house. They recognize her as their mate and are desperate to make contact 3. They recognize her as their mate and are desperate to make contact with her Top it off with a really good story, complete with a mega bitchy villain. Bake it all up with some super hot sex scenes and this recipe is complete! This is an excellent place to start.
The werewolf twins, Derrick and Mark, are fun and series all at the same time. I liked that about them and I think Jenna liked that as well. The eroticism was there while not be overpowered with sexual acts that might turn some people off. The edge was stepped on nicely. I particularly loved the dreamwalking scenes. Some of the sex scenes seemed a little forced. I realize that with a short story that might be a given, but maybe one less sex scene or maybe longer sex scenes of the ones already in play.

Not only does it have an wild adventure with dangerous moments, humor that I simply enjoy, but the HOT sex scenes left me chasing after my husband. It's very difficult to write a complete story in only 59 pages, but Ms.

Years later Jenna buys their house, not knowing that they still reside there. The guys find out that she is their mate which puts an extra urgency in figuring out how to get their bodies back before the 'nasty' witch comes back for her annual check on them. Although this is a novella it is a full story and has some humorous parts to it as well as parts that will raise the temperature.
Call my contrary This is a novella about two werewolves who get cursed by a powerful witch and are sent to Limbo.
Call my contrary - I liked how they got their bodies back but what followed just seemed I don't know, too easy. Another entertaining book by Eve Langlais though, I certainly do enjoy her work. This was an okay short read, but I think at the end of the day I'm just not into ghost stories. It's hard to get my dose of possessive alpha male when the males in question are Also, Jenna annoyed me a lot with her "giggling" and "snickering. A fun little quick romp, stand alone paranormal erotica novella. Mar 01, L M rated it it was amazing. I had forgotten how much of a super quick, fun and enjoyable read it was. I never expect or get less from this author. Derrick and Mark are two hot alpha males who have been cursed.
They are cocky and arrogant and used to getting anything they want but when they refuse to do what an equally arrogant witch wants, they get cursed. With no way to break the curse, they are doomed to a long lonely ghostly imprisonment in their own home.
Every year Clarissa comes back and makes them the same offer and every year they decline. Being twins they are alike but have different personalities and in other ways so similar. Both are caring, fierce, protective and at times calm and quiet. When Jenna buys the house and moves in they realise she is their mate and attempt to contact her by any means they can. Jenna has had enough of being lied to and cheated on. Finding her boyfriend has slept with both of her ex-best friends she buys a house in a small town to get away and lick her wounds.

This sexy little novella is certainly a fun read. Nov 12, Brandy rated it it was amazing. Great Read This was a great fast paced read full of Suspense and Intrigue. I Highly Recommend this book for over 18 due to content. Awe - what a cute story - When I was a teenager, I didn't believe in Ghosts, but I had wanted to pretend they existed: Haunted me and followed me around the house I Blame the movie BeetleJuice: This story was a fast read, but really cute. Following her nasty sent up into the master bedroom where they found her laying in between the sheets waiting for them.
Derrick, t Awe - what a cute story - When I was a teenager, I didn't believe in Ghosts, but I had wanted to pretend they existed: Mark on the other hand.. I love the difference between these two twins: But the guys wouldn't budge. She wasn't their mate, and they wouldn't settle for anything less So she cursed them And they couldn't leave their house.
Every year on Halloween, Clarissa came back to the house demanding the twins bind her to them, and every year they refuse. That's how Jenna bought the house they haunted.. Leaving behind a bad relationship and friends that betrayed her, she was anxious to start over. And something about the house drew her here Mark and Derrick knew the second she walked into the house that she was their mate And now they couldn't do anything about it It was hot though, the things a ghost could do when they have nothing else to do: The chilly breeze across her shoulders, the soft whisper kisses of a chill on her neck Very original and now I'll have an excuse to talk out loud to myself when the kids aren't home: I have a thing about not reading Ghost stories because I do not, do not like the idea of floating around and being ignored.
In life, I love to talk so being isolated with little to no function scares me. Plus, without a corporeal form, I beg to think what kind of fighting action would take place. I am an absolute action kind of gal. In fact, I will read Eve's Ghostly tales any day of the week I have a thing about not reading Ghost stories because I do not, do not like the idea of floating around and being ignored.
Can you make that happen Eve? The poachers turn out to be a really dangerous problem, and result in the very exciting climax of the story. There are also other climaxes, of the more sexy kind, and they are well-written and hot. The dialog is very good, with lots of humor, too. I really enjoyed this book. Aug 25, Sandy rated it it was amazing Shelves: Joyce book, shifter or otherwise, you better be prepared to be carried into the story, anticipate every page, and fall in love with the characters.
In this 3rd book of the series we find out what makes Jason Tragor such a broken, damaged bear that he's in this last-chance group of misfits that no other crew will accept. A spunky forest ranger with a fear of bears is his last hope to banish the ghost of his past and in the midst of a deadly confrontation, discovers her place in this family of accepting, loyal and fiercely protective outcasts.
I just can't say enough about how thoroughly enjoyable each and every book from this author is. Without hesitation 5 stars! Oct 18, ValerieC rated it it was amazing Shelves: Recommend all of this author's books to those who aren't familiar with her work.

Yes, it's bear shifters, but very well-written and proofread. As satisfying as reading Celia Kyle's very best stuff. Her Wolf Brides series is one of my all-time favorites, which I am thinking about re-reading since I've read almost all of her books now except for Easton's. Jason can't escape the woman who turned him, even after she dies. Then Georgia comes into his life and with Easton's help, they defeat Jason's ghost.
The real trick, though, is to live through all the challenges they face. Jul 06, Runningrabbit rated it liked it. Series on Kindle Unlimited Definitely not my favourite one of the series. I had trouble both liking and identifying with the leading lady. Oct 01, Debrac rated it liked it.
Geogia, a park ranger, falls for Jason, a gray bear who's being haunted by his exmate. Nov 10, Marsha Spohn rated it it was amazing Shelves: These hunters are extremely dangerous, and the fight against them will be epic… with consequences. Damon has hired a ranger to protect his mountains and the bear shifter crews that work within them. Yet there is good reason for his madness and at this point being on the Gray Back crew with an alpha that can put him down is the best place for him.
Jason is not a natural Shifter, he was turned by a vicious she devil who abandoned him shortly after claiming him… then went and got herself killed. Jason longs for death… until he meets Georgia. Gray Back Ghost Bear takes us further into the new world of registered Shifters, and brings into play, once again, some very evil people with an agenda. She is his mate and in many ways his only hope for a future without madness.
Their romance will not be easy, but it is strong and in the end their love will be the saving factor for each. The battle with the hunters after the Shifters will be epic and nerve wracking… and eventually the solution for two people who are destined for each other. I enjoyed Gray Back Ghost Bear very much. It answered questions… and posed even more for this crew to face. As always, I enjoy seeing the continuing development of couples from earlier in the series. Meeting up with old friends is always a treat in any T.
Yes, this story is right in the middle of a very long overlapping set of series. While I would highly recommend this story and these series to any Shifter Romance reader — I would also have to say that to get the most from this story you need to start at the beginning. If you cannot start at the very beginning then at least read about this crew from their start. I read this story through my Kindle Unlimited subscription. Probably the best 10 bucks I spend a month.
Aug 18, Laura rated it liked it. What Is It About: Georgia was hired as the new park ranger for Damon's mountain. There's been an issue of illegal poaching that Georgia must stop before it escalates. Jason is haunted by the woman who turned him into a bear shifter because she says that he murdered her. Georgia and Jason fall in love but they could be torn apart by the danger from the poachers and the ghost.
What I Liked and Didn't: I enjoyed both of the characters and their relationship but I wasn't very invested. I just didn't re What Is It About: I just didn't really feel the connection between the two of them. To be completely honest, nothing about the characters were particularly memorable. I think that it's hard to be a memorable character when the rest of the characters in the trailer park are such large and exciting characters. Plot-wise, everything was over so quickly. The ghost suddenly changed into a completely different person and was helpful?
That didn't really make sense to me. The poachers escalated without any real suspense or hint of what they were up to. I liked the premise of the plot but the execution wasn't the greatest. Although, I did like the big battle at the end, it made Georgia come across as a total bad-ass. I thought that the ghost angle would have been more dramatic if there were any hints about it in other books. But this was certainly one of the most unique books of the series, it's the first time they've mentioned any other supernaturals in the world other than shifters so I'd be interested in more of that.
Would I recommend it? Will I be carrying on? Definitely, I want to read Easton's happily ever after. Nov 26, Kathy Wideman rated it it was amazing Shelves: This is the third book in this series. He is barely making it from one day to the next. Then he meets Georgia. Georgia is a park ranger who has been hired by Damon to protect his land from poachers.

Joyce is a fantastic author and I recommend all of her books. Feb 13, Jenica rated it it was amazing. I really loved this book. At first, they think it is David, but after a series of horrible attacks on Samantha, they suspect otherwise. One night the camera records Ellen sitting up in bed and leaving her bedroom. She walks into the living room, where she writes something on a piece of paper. She then crumples the paper and walks back down the hallway. Thomas suggests that Ellen and Samantha stay at a hotel while he sets up traps around the house with bells and wire.
When the bells ring, Thomas investigates. The wire and bell outside his door are ripped from the wall and thrown at him. Thomas shuts himself in the bedroom and the demon bangs on his door. Thomas receives a phone call from Ellen, who is in hysterics after the demon apparently followed them and attacked Samantha.
Upon returning to the house, Samantha hunches over in pain. Thomas awakens at night and finds his sister missing. He finds the attic ladder hanging down and ascends it to find her standing there in her bra and panties, in a trance. Upon awakening, she is unable to remember what happened. Thomas asks the previous owner of the house if anyone named Maron ever lived there, but the previous owner does not recognize the name. Thomas hears Samantha screaming and rushes to the bathroom to find her lying topless in the bathtub, severely traumatized.
Ellen wakes after hearing thuds from outside. In the living room camera, she is seen standing in the archway with a knife before returning to her bedroom. Thomas wakes up after hearing a door slam shut, and finds that Ellen has slit her wrists, weapon still in hand. She is taken to the hospital. Thomas and Sam are left at home when psychic , Dr. Edgar Lauren Norman Saleet , arrives. He explains that there is a powerful dark entity in the home and that Samantha is the focus of its attention.
He says that the entity gained entry into the home when Ellen attempted to contact the spirit of David. Lauren explains that "maron" is Old Germanic for "nightmare", a creature similar to the incubus , a demon that rapes women in their sleep. The psychic agrees to help evict the entity and the video fades to black.
After a pause, the camera's POV shows the doctor's bleeding head and blank face, fallen on the floor and "looking" toward the lens.
